John has been in business as a Registered Farm Management Consultant and previously as a registered valuer for over 25 years having gained experience in Land and Survey Department immediately after leaving Lincoln University.  That experience has centred mainly around land development, farm supervision, and setting farms up for subdivision and settlement under the ballot system operating at that time.  In the 25+ years since leaving Lands and Survey John has specialised in large-scale farm supervision, management and consultancy for Maori authorities and other absentee owners.  From the mid 1990's he has been predominantly involved in the design and direct management of dairy conversion projects both in New Zealand and in the USA.

While still a Director and shareholder in the firm, John is now also a Managing Director of Reporoa Engineering (1982) Ltd and operates his own bull beef farm.

Trudy graduated from Massey with an Honors degree in Agricultural Science.  Since then she has been involved in practical farming on her own account and worked as a senior tutor in agriculture, teaching at all levels including Farm Business Management, Bankers short courses, Sharemilking courses, farm records and book-keeping, feed budgeting and personnel management. She has also been a national examiner for NZQA farm business.  Joining Perrin Ag in May 2002, Trudy works as a farm consultant in all areas of farming, specialising in dairying, corporate supervision, land use conversion and staff recruitment.  Trudy holds a Sustainable Nutrient Management certificate and is a certified Body Condition Score Assessor.

Originating from the southern North Island, Lee graduated in 2000 from Massey University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Rural Valuation and Management. After completing an Honors year in pastoral science, Lee moved to Wellington where he worked in wholesale finance for almost six years at NBNZ Treasury and ANZ Investment Bank.

Lee has been with Perrin Ag since 2006, becoming a Director and shareholder in the business in April 2008. In addition to providing one-on-one agribusiness consultancy to both dairy and drystock farmers, Lee specialises in financial and investment analysis, whole farm systems modeling and nutrient management both in New Zealand and emerging international agricultural markets.

In addition to his role at Perrin Ag, Lee is the Chair of the Finance Sub-committee on the Ngakuru School Board of Trustees.

After graduating from Massey University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agriculture and Agribusiness, Duncan sought to extend his practical knowledge and began working on a Perendale stud farm in the lower north island.

Coming from a sheep, beef and deer farming background, Duncan's shift into the dairy industry was the result of an opportunity on his own account to undertake a dry stock to dairy conversion. As Managing Director of the company Duncan project managed the conversion and then continued to run the dairy farm for a further 3 years following the conversion.

Duncan joined Perrin Ag in 2011, becoming a Partner and shareholder in the business in October 2014. Duncan works as an agribusiness consultant specialising in dairying, financial analysis and land use conversion.

Having had years of operating as a LOSM on a 940 cow dairy in Canterbury and a consultant for New Zealands largest privately owned dairy corporate, Leighton made the move in 2016 with his wife Hayley and their two children to Cambridge to join the Perrin Ag team.  LOSM and consulting has given Leighton the skills and experience of large scale practical and strategic dairy farming. He is passionate about grass based, low cost systems focussing on maximising shareholder returns and also has a particular interest in profitable farming under the regional nutrient limits

Having lived on a Waikato dairy farm all his life Byron has a passion for farming.  He graduated from Massey University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science.

Byron joined the Perrin Ag team in early 2013 and works as a consultant for dairy and drystock.  An experienced Farmax user and experienced in farm mapping, Byron is also a certified effluent WOF assessor, a certified Body Condition Score Assessor, holds an Advanced Sustainable Nutrient Management certificate and certified NZIPIM Dairy Farm Systems consultant.

Matthew is passionate about agriculture and having grown up on a 2500 ha property in the Manawatu with the diversity of sheep, beef, deer, dairy, bull beef and forestry he is no stranger to the practical side of farming.

After he left school he spent some time in the UK and Australia gaining more experience in foreign farming systems.  Matt studied agricultural commerce and farm management at Lincoln and Massey Universities.

Rachael officially joined the  Perrin Ag team as an Environmental Consultant in 2016 after contracting to Perrin Ag for some time.  Rachael is one of the few independent Certified Nutrient Management Advisers in the region and is available to assist farmers and businesses to achieve their nutrient goals through discussions and modelling scenarios.

Rachael emigrated from the UK in 1998 having been brought up rurally in Devon.  Prior to joining the Perrin Ag team she jointly owned or co-managed 3 different drystock properties (the largest being 2,400ha). While on  the red deer stud in Rotorua, she won two Ballance Agri Nutrients Farm Environmental Awards in 2011 for nutrient management and habitat creation.

In her spare time Rachael enjoys hunting (including working gun dogs), walking and fly fishing.

Vance was brought up on a dairy farm just south of Whangarei.  He graduated from Waikato University with a Master of Science (Earth Science) degree in 1992.  After working as an engineering geologist in Auckland, he moved to the Northern Territory in Australia to work as a  senior land management officer specialising in erosion and sediment control.   Returning to NZ in 2003 Vance settled in Papamoa where he worked for the BOP Regional Council in Rotorua helping farmers to reduce their impact on the Rotorua Lakes.  In late 2005 he set up his own business providing agricultural environmental services specialising in Overseer modelling.  He is a Certified Nutrient Management Advisor and joined the Perrin Ag team as an Environmental Consultant in 2016.

In his spare time, weather permitting, he is usually found somewhere out at sea fishing, either in close catching a feed or way out over the horizon chasing the big ones.

Peter grew up on a drystock, deer & dairy property in the Horowhenua area. After graduating from Massey with an Honors degree in Agricultural Science, Peter started his consultancy career in Palmerston North, before settling in Te Kuiti.

Before joining the Perrin Ag team in 2017 Peter was the Supply Chain Manager for Firstlight Foods Ltd where he led the livestock team that managed the Venison and Wagyu Producer Groups.   Prior to that Peter had 20 years' experience as an Agricultural Consultant based in Te Kuiti, working with predominantly sheep and beef clients.

Peter is pleased to be part of the Perrin Ag team, returning to consultancy and working with clients to assist their farm businesses and teams meet their goals under the economic and environmental challenges that are present in the industry.

Peter enjoys farming his 56ha farm, playing tennis, water skiing and mountain biking with his family in his spare time.

Mickey joined the PAC team in June 2017. Her extensive  corporate  finance,  human  resources  and  overall  business  management experience  has  been  well  developed  over  the  past  12  years  in  a  career  which  has  spanned  a  wide range  of  high-paced and entrepreneurial organisations,  including  The Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey  Incorporated.

Originally from South Africa, Mickey, her husband and two kids moved to Rotorua at the end of 2016. She holds degrees in Accounting Sciences and Radiography. Mickey and her family enjoy spending time in the Redwoods and exploring all Rotorua has to offer.

Gayle was brought up on a sheep station in Masterton and spent childhood holidays on a dairy farm in Raumate.  Her family then moved to Kaitaia before settling in Rotorua.  Gayle is a keen mountain biker and spends a lot of her spare time on Rotorua's world class trails.  Her previous professional background is Hotel Management and tourism. She is currently studying Business Management through The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.

Gayle co-ordinates and manages Perrin Ag's clients administrative support services.

Anika joined the Perrin Ag team in 2016.  Her background is a combination of business banking, accounts and business management and agri-business.  She and her husband are local dairy farmers and enjoy spending family time on the farm, swimming at the lakes and beaches, hiking and a variety of outdoor activities.  Anika also enjoys competing in half marathons.
