John has been in business as a Registered Farm Management Consultant and previously as a registered valuer for over 25 years having gained experience in Land and Survey Department immediately after leaving Lincoln University.  That experience has centred mainly around land development, farm supervision, and setting farms up for subdivision and settlement under the ballot system operating at that time.  In the 25+ years since leaving Lands and Survey John has specialised in large-scale farm supervision, management and consultancy for Maori authorities and other absentee owners.  From the mid 1990's he has been predominantly involved in the design and direct management of dairy conversion projects both in New Zealand and in the USA. 

While still a Director and shareholder in the firm, John is now also a Managing Director of Reporoa Engineering (1982) Ltd and operates his own bull beef farm.

Trudy graduated from Massey with an honours degree in Agricultural Science.  Since then she has been involved in practical farming on her own account and worked as a senior tutor in agriculture, teaching at all levels including Farm Business Management, Bankers short courses, Sharemilking courses, farm records and book-keeping, feed budgeting and personnel management. She has also been a national examiner for NZQA farm business.  Joining Perrin Ag in May 2002, Trudy works as a farm consultant in all areas of farming, specialising in dairying, corporate supervision, land use conversion and staff recruitment.

Trudy is a Director and shareholder of Perrin Ag Consultants Ltd.

Originating from the southern North Island, Lee graduated in 2000 from Massey University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Rural Valuation and Management. After completing an Honours year in pastoral science, Lee moved to Wellington where he worked in wholesale finance for almost six years at NBNZ Treasury and ANZ Investment Bank. 

Having left Wellington in August 2006, Lee has been with Perrin Ag for over four years, becoming a Director and shareholder in the business in April 2008. In addition to providing one-on-one agribusiness consultancy to both dairy and drystock farmers, Lee specialises in financial and investment analysis, whole farm systems modeling and nutrient management both in New Zealand and emerging international agricultural markets.

In addition to his role at Perrin Ag, Lee is a sitting member of the Rotorua Land Use Futures Board and the Secretary of the Rotorua Branch of the NZ Deer Farmers Association.

After graduating from Massey University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agriculture and Agribusiness, Duncan sought to extend his practical knowledge and began working on a Perendale stud farm in the lower north island.

Coming from a sheep, beef and deer farming background, Duncan's shift into the dairy industry was the result of an opportunity on his own account to undertake a dry stock to dairy conversion. As Managing Director of the company Duncan project managed the conversion and then continued to run the dairy farm for a further 3 years following the conversion.

Joining Perrin Ag in 2011 Duncan works as an agribusiness consultant specialising in in dairying, financial analysis and land use conversion.

Practice Manager

Joining Perrin Ag Consultants in 2008 in the role of Practice Manager, Helen Mossman has had significant experience in coordinating the administrative needs of businesses in the primary sector.

Managing Perrin Ag's Rotorua office, Helen also provides significant administrative support to the rural businesses actively supervised by the firm, as well as being the primary point of contact for Perrin Ag's client and support networks.
